Professional fence installation is more complex than you might think. There are many factors builders have to consider like fence style, terrain, and whether there’s an old fence to remove, to name a few. At Purple Fencing Company, we view each client’s build as a custom job and aim for efficient, quick, and thorough installations.
The Purple Fencing Company approach
Our team of experienced professionals will work with you on a timeline for your custom fence. Generally, fences take between two to four days to construct. However, a final timeline will be provided by the fencing contractors once they are able to determine the scope of the installation.
When a fencing contractor first assesses a build, they identify property lines and make sure fence placement is exact. Then they investigate ground conditions. Are there any rocks, concrete slabs, or thick tree roots in the path of construction? If there are a significant amount of obstacles, fence installation may require additional time.
How complex is the project?
Next, the fencing contractor evaluates the level of sophistication of the build – are there more than one or two gates? Is the fence on flat terrain, or will the fence act as a retaining wall? Does the fence have custom woodwork or some other complex design? Most of our clients have at least one or two specializations that require additional attention and longer build time.
We want our clients to enjoy their fences for years, which is why we take such care to offer high-quality installations. A new fence is an investment in your home, and we want to make sure we take the time to install it right.
Travel time and weather
Sometimes there are things unrelated to the actual fence that our contractors have to factor into installation time. The weather can have a big impact. Fence installation is physically demanding and is much easier to do on days when the weather is nice. On days with rain or other inclement weather, installation may experience delays – although we always strive to accomplish as much as possible.
